Sunday School Schedule

There will be no Sunday School classes on November 24. The Nursery will be open for babies and toddlers.

The Nursery will be open on the evening of December 1 for babies and toddlers during our special evening service in our new church. Look for more information to come by email.

Regular Sunday school classes will resume for all ages on December 8.

Parents, PLEASE NOTE that our move from the location at JA to our new property that has street access on each side will require much closer supervision of your children. Please have discussions with them to make sure they are aware that running loose unsupervised outdoors will not be allowed. Their safety is our top priority!

Operation Christmas Child

A Special Thank You to Ginger and Davis Whitwell for organizing our Operation Christmas Child collection this year. We collected 35 boxes as a church. Thanks to everyone who participated.

We will be playing paintball at http://www.apgob.com. The cost is $38 per person, including lunch.

December 7 – All the Youth girls join us from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and Christmas on Ice. Cost to skate is $15 and includes skate rental. They have food, hot chocolate and ice slides, so bring a few extra dollars if you would like to partake in any of that! Let Lori Reed know if you or your child plan to attend so they will know how many to expect.

December 8 – Youth Christmas party

December 15-17 – “STUDY HUB “
We are making our gathering area into a study hub for students to study for exams. This is not just for students to hangout… it is for the purpose of studying. We will have whiteboards for students to collaborate on. Also, we will provide snacks and hot chocolate. Our hope is that we can produce an atmosphere that promotes creativity and learning.

January 17-20 – Breakthru
If you want to sign up for Breakthru contact Joseph Jordan at 601-951-4241. This will be a great trip and you don’t want to miss out!

I – Invest in your Church
RAISE More Fund

Our church goal is to raise $1 million by December 31, 2015. This fund is to “raise more” for our renovation, and future local & global missions.

Join Us for a Church Work Day

We have a WORK DAY set for Saturday November 30th. We need to set-up the chairs and finalize all clean up before our first service on December 1st!

We need to have some hands ready on TUESDAY MORNING, NOVEMBER 26 at 8:30 a.m. for when the chairs are delivered. We can set them up Saturday, but we need to get them unloaded on TUESDAY MORNING. To have some men here to do so would be great.

Thank you for all your help as we COMPLETE this move! If you can participate or have any questions, please contact Kristian and Kelly Angulo at kelly.angulo@sos.ms.gov.

S – Share in a Group
Are there any ladies in Bellwether who desire a connection with others?

We are having our next Ladies’ Lunch on December 3 at 12:00 for lunch and fellowship. This will be held at Cherry Duckworth’s home at 3922 Stuart Place. Bring your own lunch, come for a short devotional and prayer time and meet some new people. If you cannot stay for the entire hour, please come as long as you are able! Please invite your neighbors and co-workers, too!

E – Extend Yourself Out
Are you interested in music lessons?

Guitar, Piano, Bass and Drum lessons are now available and taught by Eric Wasilak Monday-Friday in the Youth Room Studio at Bellwether. For information contact Eric at (769)234-4399 or jammin80@hotmail.com.

Kairos Women’s Ministry Opportunity

Christmas is just around the corner, and once again, we are asking for your help. We want to reach out to those who are away from their families during this blessed holiday season. We want to give a bag, with love from God’s people, to every A&B custody inmate at Central MS Correctional Facility for Christmas. Our needs are clear deodorant, clear shampoo, white athletic socks (Crew), and hard candy, all to be placed in a clear zip lock bag. Please contact Cherry Duckworth at (601) 941-9103 or cherry@duckworthrealty.com if you have any questions. This Sunday, November 24, will be the last week for the donations.

Feed the Need Ministry

The Bellwether Feed the Need cooking ministry had another successful day with 160 meals prepared and stocking another 30 meals in our freezer! Thanks to everyone that participated and to Emilee Brasell for organizing this amazing ministry.
The next cooking day is January 25. For more information about the upcoming cooking day, email Emilee at meals@bellwetherchurch.org.
